Search-form entries, such as a name, telephone number, or address, go to the outside provider operating the results. Murphy Residents Directory does not retain its own copy of those searches. If you contact us, we use the content of your message to respond.

Hosting may record standard logs, including IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregated information to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited information to operate the service, repair problems, measure traffic, and improve reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Collin County or Texas portals, library collections, archives, and outside search tools. The policy of the destination service controls data submitted there, including information entered into sponsored search results.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Texas Business and Commerce Code chapter 541, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, can provide access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights for data handled by covered businesses. It does not require deletion of an accurate public record held by a government custodian. Because we retain little visitor data, a request normally concerns the contact mailbox or available logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Requests about a Texas, Collin County, or Murphy public record belong with the custodian office.
